Good evening everyone, and Happy Australia Day.
Sorry to say, we are going to have to cancel classes for Tuesday the 27th, due to excessive heat.
Even though Croydon has air-conditioning, the Aust Sports Commission guidelines advise us not to run classes, at both Croydon and Healesville.
Back to normal for Wednesday the 28th as a cool change is forecast.
To those families who live in Fire prone areas, please stay alert and safe, and to everyone, STAY HYDRATED. Drink, Drink and Drink some more.
Good luck to all those heading back to school this week. Have a great 2026.

Here are some upcoming events at our dojo:
Full timetable resumes Tuesday the 27th of January
Monday February 2nd - Senior Grading class and meeting (for those grading for Black Belt and Dan levels in 2026) 7:45pm to 9pm
Friday February 6th - Parents and Seniors Rules/Refs seminar. Croydon Dojo 6:30pm to 8pm. Open to all parents, and all Teen/Adult students of all levels.
Sunday February 15th - Kakushinkan Cup Round 1 - Croydon dojo (Click here for more INFO)
Saturday February 21st - Croydon Dojo Open day. More info to come.
ATTENTION Parents, Teen & Adult Karate students:
Friday the 6th of February at the Croydon dojo, we will be running our first Open Rules and Refs session.
6:30pm to 8pm (No experience required, it’s our job to give you the experience.)
